I just wanted to let you know how fabulous Ms. Anna was today at Ivy's party! She was amazing with the girls!!! She is such a talent keeping them engaged while having so much fun. They all LOVED it and Ivy had a dreamy 5th birthday!!! She could not have been happier. Thank you so much for providing such wonderful dance opportunities to young girls! Please keep me updated for summer camp opportunities...Ivy has already asked. Thanks!

Hi Mary! I just wanted to let you know that Claire auditioned and got a part in Hutchison's Fall musical. She is the only 5th grader in the play and there are only 4 middle school girls in it, so it is a big honor for her to have been chosen. I know that she did so well in her audition because of her experience with you last spring in the Sound of Music! She even did a monologue and song from it at the audition. Thank You for your wonderful instruction and guidance!

My daughter (then 6years old) did the Annie production with them last summer and she absolutely loved it. The teachers and helpers were great and they were very organized and put on a wonderful production. :)

Mary: First, thank you for all the work that you do in putting together an excellent program for children. The attention, patience and skill provided by your instructors, combined with the variety of schedule, make the program definitely worth the drive from Arkansas. Thanks again for all you do!

Thank you for the past two years...Hattie has had so much fun with Miss Erin and Miss Mary as her teachers. She always learns so much and loves to show it off at home. And we loved the recital. The costumes are always perfect and sweet for their age and they just looked adorable!

Each week my daughter can't wait to go to ballet class at Children's Ballet. She enjoys learning the dances and practicing the positions. I have been so pleased to see her coordination and confidence grow by leaps and grand jetes ! She's even decided that when she grows up she wants to be on stage just like Miss Mary.

My daughter has taken from Mrs. Anna for two years at Christ Methodist Day School and simply adores her. The class learns dance movement, body awareness and posture, stage presence, and how to follow instructions individually and as a group. My daughter has completely fallen in love with dance and music because of Mrs. Anna! She reinforces a job well done and has patience when a student struggles. Despite the class being taught as a group, she works with each child individually on posture and form. When I had to make a schedule change, Ms Van Dyke took care of it with ease. She is friendly, easy to work with, and keeps up with each child’s progress! I cannot think of a better place for my child to grow, learn and express herself through dance!

The performances my daughter has been in at Memphis Youth Musical Theater have been amazing experiences for her. The instructors are top notch and very professional. The kids learn a ton about stage presence, dance and voice. They have fun and I like the wide age range. The older kids are great role models and MYMT gives everyone an opportunity to grow as they age. I only wish we had found them sooner.

My daughter started with Children's Ballet Theater in Pre-K and continued for eight years until we moved out of state. The poise, grace and confidence she developed while attending CBT have made all the difference as my daughter entered her teenage years. She studied ballet and modern dance throughout the school year as well as at CBT's Summer Ballet Camps, and also participated in theater productions with sister company Memphis Youth Musical Theater. I can't say enough about the kind and nurturing approach of Miss Mary and the other instructors who taught my daughter, who included Miss Anna, Miss Erin, Miss Alyssa, Miss Myra and Miss Cami. They really took care to encourage the students and challenge them to do their best all while making it fun! As a mom, I always appreciated the age-appropriate costumes and choreography - always modest and elegant, respectively. Our family has such wonderful memories of Children's Ballet Theater's annual Nutcracker performances, and our daughter looked forward to dancing a different role each year. Since moving away from Memphis a few years ago, we have returned at Christmastime and attended the Children's Ballet Theater Nutcracker at the GPAC - and we continue to be amazed at the growth of the students and the program!
